On iPhone (26.4) once logged in and selecting a user it gets stuck on the app logo. It was the same on Apple TV but after 30 minutes it eventually loaded in. Behaviour repeats on both after closing the app. Tried uninstalling.

Using a remote Plex server. With a HUGE library

Hi, could you try loading the app (after updating it in TestFlight) and report back if your issue still persists?

Nathan Ellis thanks for the fast response! Issue persists on both devices after updating. I’ve also tried deleting and reinstalling since the update with no luck.

Sam Craddock: Do both the iOS app and tvOS app eventually load in (even though its taking forever)?

You mentioned tvOS does load in, has the iOS app ever loaded in?

Nathan Ellis significantly faster now but still takes approximately 90 seconds to pass the app logo. Thanks for the awesome support

Nathan Ellis significantly improved on build 20. iOS loads in instantly with no issues. Apple TV now loads in instantly to the home menu but all the content sections get stuck on spinning wheel.

Really impressed with the fast updates!

Hi, thanks for your feedback. I've seen a couple of issues in my code where it might take ages for Plex libraries to load. The app doesn't actually load the entire Plex library at once, otherwise your app or device would probably crash. But there's lots of optimizations I can add into the app to reduce this time. As it definitely should not be anywhere near 30 minutes, it should be 5 seconds 🤣
